In 2023, we turn 16 years old! We couldn't be happier to support the DMV with our planning and design services for so many remembered years.

Our Story

Remembered Events is an events management, planning, coordination, and design company. We reach the Washington, DC Metropolitan area including Virginia & Maryland, Southern New Jersey, and destinations all over the world. We want to offer you an exceptional customer service experience where you don't feel like a client, you feel like family. From full service planning to Wedding Management, our goal is to ensure your event is truly remembered for years to come. Our services are customized and personalized to what stage in the planning process you are. It would be our honor to make your event come to life!

My passion is for people and making memories with my people! I love getting to know my clients, sharing in the process of planning and brainstorming. Events are supposed to leave you with all of the feels. I thoroughly enjoy taking a vision from some thoughts to a well designed plan. My goal is for you to sit back with your champagne and enjoy every aspect of your special event with zero worries or stress. You will always get my authentic self. I am going to tell you the truth, laugh with you, and share all of the tricks of the trade that I have picked up over the years. I live for attention to details, to do lists (the satisfaction of crossing off my lists is simply amazing), and being able to problem solve creatively, which you do a lot while planning. Pink is my jam! It makes me happy. So does my handsome hubby who is in the Coast Guard and we married in June 2016 at Rust Manor House. We have one rescue beagles, I'm very passionate about using products that haven't been tested on animals. Our daughter joined the Tyner Team in September 2018. She has been the best adventure in our life, teaching me so many new skills! I truly can do anything I put my mind to. I just might need some my energy drink with that! We love exploring the DMV, traveling, and trying new restaurants!

Hi! I’m Emily! I have a passion for organization, planning, list making, and design, which led me to choose a career in teaching. I have a bachelor’s degree in English and History Education with a minor in Music from UNC Charlotte. I got married way back in 2009 to my best friend, Richard. I started teaching right out of college and I taught middle school for almost 10 years before I left to be home with my two boys, Chase and Dean. #boymom Over the last 2 years I have been a Day of Coordinator for a wedding venue and I’ve loved every minute. I get to use the skills and passions that led me into teaching in a totally new and exciting way. I take so much joy and pride working on a plan and watching it come together. I love all things weddings- flower choices, decor ideas, even down to the type of paper and fonts used for invitations- it truly is a joy for me to coordinate even the smallest details! When I’m not working, I also teach group fitness for moms and am a yoga instructor! I’m an avid runner and spend as much time as I can outside with my boys who constantly keep me on the go with our rescue pup, Benson.

I have been with Remembered Events since 2018, and have loved every second of it! I started as an intern, and quickly excelled through my attention for detail and eye for design. I love interacting with couples and their loved ones both on their special day and the months leading up to it. I work my hardest to ensure that any little bumps along the way are solved with care and consideration. My favorite part of each wedding is when the couple says "I Do!". When I'm not at a wedding I manage a hair salon, and am a freelance marketer. You could say I love to multitask. Aside from work I love to travel, and was even raised in Europe. Virginia has been my home since 2015, but I love any excuse to explore new places and experience new things!

Kelli has been with the team since 2020 and has an extensive background in corporate and government event planning. She joined the team as an intern and we knew instantly that her passion for couples and events was contagious. We needed her on the team. Kelli has an eye for thinking outside the box to bring your idea creatively to life.

I worked my first event in 2017 and my passion for events has only grown since then! I received my bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2018. I'm kept busy working full time on the special events team for the Fredericksburg Nationals #GoFredNats! As an event planner I'm focused on making the process easy for YOU! You can be as cool as a cucumber the day of your event because we'll take care of everything for you! If I'm not working on making your event perfect, I'm watching sports or Marvel movies with my husband, Adam, or snuggling with my dogs, Maisy & Moose! I can't wait to work with you on your next event!

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve had a passion for weddings and events. I’ve loved being in them, helping as much as I could, and seeing the aftermath. After being a stay at home mom for so many years, I decided to finally pursue my passion! Working for remembered events and getting my bachelors in business administration has given me a newfound sense of independence. I love the color green, I’m a sucker for target and their dollar section, I love crafting and binge watching my favorite shows.

I have dreamed about my wedding since as long as I can remember. When I learned that I can make a career out of it, I thought, “why plan just one wedding when you can plan more?” I started with Amanda as an intern in fall 2022, and loved working with the team. I am currently a student at George Mason University working on getting my degree in business administration with concentrations in both accounting and marketing.  When I’m not in class or or at an event, I’m walking my neighbors German Shepard, Tank, or working on my photography, painting, and baking!

I grew up in South Carolina and now live outside of DC. I currently work as a registered dietitian. When I’m not planning my own wedding I enjoy going hiking with my dog and cooking.

I found my passion for planning in college from a position I held in an organization. I found my love for weddings in high school during an internship at a bridal shop. I am so excited to combine the two and to be a part of people's biggest and most memorable events. Outside of Remembered Events, I am a graduate of Christopher Newport University with a major in Marketing and currently work in tech sales. I have three loves in my life, Dr. Pepper, my cat (Costco), and binge-watching Vampire Diaries. Looking forward to helping in any way I can with your event!
