I live for connecting with people and creating unforgettable moments with my tribe! There's nothing quite like getting to know my clients and brainstorming our way to the perfect event. The whole point of these magical moments is to leave you with a heart full of joy and memories to last a lifetime. And the thrill in taking a vague idea and transforming it into a stunning reality is everything. My mission is to help you relish every single aspect of your special day, champagne in hand, sans stress. You can count on me to always keep it real, laugh with you, and share every trade secret I've gathered over the years. I'm all about those tiny details, to-do lists (cue the victorious feeling of crossing items off!), and creative problem-solving - which, let's be honest, is a lot of what event planning entails.

 

Oh, and just between us, I have a thing for pink. It brings me pure joy. Speaking of joy, my dashing hubby, who serves in the Coast Guard, and I tied the knot at Rust Manor House in June 2016. We're also proud parents to a rescued beagle and our newest puppy Chipper the Dachshund.  I'm passionate about using animal-friendly products. Last but not least, our daughter joined our team in September 2018, and has been an adventure filled with glitter and princesses! With enough energy drinks, I'm convinced I can conquer anything. When we're not busy making magic happen, my fam and I love exploring the DMV, jet-setting to new destinations, and trying out the hottest restaurants in town!

Hi! I’m Emily! I have a passion for organization, planning, list making, and design, which led me to choose a career in teaching. I have a bachelor’s degree in English and History Education with a minor in Music from UNC Charlotte. I got married way back in 2009 to my best friend, Richard. I started teaching right out of college and I taught middle school for almost 10 years before I left to be home with my two boys, Chase and Dean. #boymom Over the last 2 years I have been a Day of Coordinator for a wedding venue and I’ve loved every minute. I get to use the skills and passions that led me into teaching in a totally new and exciting way. I take so much joy and pride working on a plan and watching it come together. I love all things weddings- flower choices, decor ideas, even down to the type of paper and fonts used for invitations- it truly is a joy for me to coordinate even the smallest details! When I’m not working, I also teach group fitness for moms and am a yoga instructor! I’m an avid runner and spend as much time as I can outside with my boys who constantly keep me on the go with our rescue pup, Benson.

I have been with Remembered Events since 2018, and have loved every second of it! I started as an intern, and quickly excelled through my attention for detail and eye for design. I love interacting with couples and their loved ones both on their special day and the months leading up to it. I work my hardest to ensure that any little bumps along the way are solved with care and consideration. My favorite part of each wedding is when the couple says "I Do!". When I'm not at a wedding I manage a hair salon, and am a freelance marketer. You could say I love to multitask. Aside from work I love to travel, and was even raised in Europe. Virginia has been my home since 2015, but I love any excuse to explore new places and experience new things!

Based in the heart of Washington DC, her expertise also spans the beautiful landscapes of Virginia and Maryland, where she has designed some of the most talked-about weddings in recent years.

Known for her calm demeanor and organizational prowess, Clarice navigates the complexities of wedding planning with grace and efficiency. Her ability to listen deeply to her clients' visions and bring them to life, down to the last detail, has earned her rave reviews and a loyal following. Whether it’s an intimate elopement, a grand affair, or a virtual celebration, Clarice’s expertise ensures a seamless and memorable experience for couples and their guests.

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve had a passion for weddings and events. I’ve loved being in them, helping as much as I could, and seeing the aftermath. After being a stay at home mom for so many years, I decided to finally pursue my passion! Working for remembered events and getting my bachelors in business administration has given me a newfound sense of independence. I love the color green, I’m a sucker for target and their dollar section, I love crafting and binge watching my favorite shows.

I found my passion for planning in college from a position I held in an organization. I found my love for weddings in high school during an internship at a bridal shop. I am so excited to combine the two and to be a part of people's biggest and most memorable events. Outside of Remembered Events, I am a graduate of Christopher Newport University with a major in Marketing and currently work in tech sales. I have three loves in my life, Dr. Pepper, my cat (Costco), and binge-watching Vampire Diaries. Looking forward to helping in any way I can with your event!
